Green Globe Nursery
Why greenglobenursery.com?
The name Green Globe Nursery was chosen because I at one time operated a small hobby nursery in the community of Globe just outside of Springville, California. I still plan on raising plants and trees as I believe that they can help make life better and improve our environment. Currently, I am raising over 100 varieties of Fruit, Nut and Shade trees in Ducor. I have donated a number of cedars and other trees to the Porterville Schools and Cemetery District over the past few years, but I am currently not conducting sales.
The website Globe Nursery was already taken by a nursery from India, so I chose Green as it is my favorite color, the color of nature and life. Also, because I am running as a Green Party candidate for Congress.
Having a degree in Geography and teaching it at college, leads a double meaning to the term Globe. I believe that we are all inhabitants of the earth, and it is our duty and obligation to be good stewards.
